Now no longer a member of EPB.  I just felt that I could no longer put in the time that would be required and the electorate needed someone that could give 100%.

Now have a new project:

Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder

This is the single biggest cause of brain damage in this country and as it is caused by mothers drinking while pregnant it is 100% preventable.

We are arranging training days in Newquay and have several leaflets and pamphlets available if anyone is interested for their own knowledge or for their customers.

The FASD Trust organises meetings all over the country and can organise one near you if they're not doing one already.  Their website is HERE.

We don't tell mothers that it's safe to have a few  cigarettes,  we don't tell them that it's safe to have a few x-rays, it's time we stopped telling them that it's safe to have a few drinks.

All the best

Chris

CLICK HERE to read the e-mail I sent to the APPG and also a lengthy letter I decided to send to my MP.

I feel that too much is going on  now for us to remain silent.

We need to be heard, we need to lobby MPs, working groups, anybody that will listen.

If we fight we might have a chance of getting a representative body that represents us.

If we don't then perhaps we deserve what we get.

P.S. Of course if you’re fed up with reading about pharmacy then why not try one of my novels or short stories HERE.  There are several offers on at the moment so you can get some reading done with no capital outlay!  The Christmas issue of the PJ had a review of one of my novels and rated it as an “Exhilarating,  page turning read”.  The first two chapters of this is one of the offers at the moment but there are many short stories and another novel for you to look at.  Happy reading regardless of which site you are on!
